VALUE

Goizueta Business School is a globally recognized and top-ranked business school, located in Atlanta, GA. One of the pioneers in executive education, Goizueta is consistently recognized by its peer set around the globe for excellence in general management curriculum, leadership development, and high caliber faculty and students. Graduates of Goizueta’s Executive MBA program point to their experience as transformational; opening their eyes to new ways to address challenges, lead teams and businesses more effectively, and the network of expert faculty and powerful leaders within the class who can be personal and professional resources for years to come.

HISTORY

Emory’s Goizueta Business School is proud to be named in honor of Roberto C. Goizueta. We espouse performance in the principled and ethical manner that was the foundation of Mr. Goizueta’s successful leadership. Our Goizueta Core Values reflect his philosophy and beliefs. These values – a hallmark of the curriculum – are distinguishing attributes that our graduates carry with them into their professional and personal lives. We are pleased to be known for striving to develop principled leaders and for the mark of such leadership within our alumni community.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The Executive MBA program is offered in two different formats, the Weekend Executive MBA (WEMBA) and the Modular Executive MBA (MEMBA), each designed for working professionals.
WEMBA – a traditional format, comprising 95% face-to-face interaction with faculty and cohort. Students come to campus for a Friday-Saturday class experience on alternating weekends. The program begins in September and lasts five terms. Through a rigorous pre-set order of classes, students are able to develop skills to work cross-functionally, take on greater management responsibilities, and gain greater understanding of the complexities of business from a leader’s perspective.
MEMBA – a unique hybrid format. Students participate in eight, one week-long residencies that take place approximately once per quarter. Two-thirds of the program is delivered face-to-face during the residencies, supplemented by one-third distance learning between the on-campus residencies. The MEMBA format attracts more senior leaders, and over the five terms students become familiar with business from a diversity of organizations and industries, creating leaders who are widely knowledgeable and ready to lead their organization to new heights. The Modular format begins in November.

GOIZUETA’S EMBA – GA HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ALLIANCE
