Eric is currently a defensive midfielder for the current MLS Champion Atlanta United. Eric’s contributions to the team were instrumental in helping the Atlanta United win all of their championships during the last year. Eric came to Atlanta from the Argentine Superliga club Atletico Banfield, where he spent the first three years of his professional career and made 68 appearances across all competitions. As great as Eric’s contributions have been on the field, he is also an incredible human being off the field. Apart from his contributions to the team, Eric Remedi has been recognized for his willingness to help others. Eric repeatedly visits children in the hospital, helping to bring a moment of joy to them and their families. Eric has also participated in various charity events, including: various exhibition matches used to raise funds for non-profits; matches to help children with disabilities; and most recently was a keynote speaker at the Annual HoPe Conference, where he encouraged and motivated over 1,000 kids to reach for their dreams, to work hard for what they want, and to remember to give back. For his contributions, Eric has been recognized with the Community Service Award by HoPe; was named a Captain of the Year for his service to the community by Delta Airlines; and was recognized, along with other team members, by the Atlanta Gladiators for his professionalism, service, and success.
