Felipe Ramirez joined UPS Information Technology in 1997; he is a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Specialist in Alpharetta Georgia. He leads the Automation Testing Team and is the lead designer and architect for the Automation Framework supporting 10 Healthcare and Non-Healthcare IT warehousing systems for UPS Supply Chain Solutions that saved over 5,000 testing hours in 2018 on track to save 10,000 testing hours for 2019.


In August 2019, Felipe was selected as one of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2019 “50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia”. This award is given to individuals reflecting the multiple sectors, that have an insurmountable impact on the community in the state of Georgia and nationally.


In February 2016, Felipe joined ALPFA (Association of Latinos Professional for America) Board of Directors as Vice President and in 2018 became President of the Board of Directors of the ALPFA Atlanta Chapter now with over 2,320 members and overseeing 6 student college chapters in Georgia. Nationally ALPFA has 45 Professional chapters & 160 Student chapters with 92,000 members.


In 2015, Felipe joined the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Atlanta Advisory Council. HSF is nation’s largest not-for-profit organization founded in 1975 supporting Hispanic American higher education.


In 2012, Felipe Co-Founded the UPS Crecer – Latino Business Resource Group (BRG) New Jersey Chapter. In 2014 moved to Atlanta GA and join the Leadership of the Crecer Atlanta Corporate Chapter and in 2018 became Social Media Global Advisor for the Atlanta Chapter. UPS Crecer is a volunteer affinity group, established in 2012 and in 2017 Crecer became the #1 BRG in the Nation by USHCC and Latina Style Magazine.


Felipe in his spare time volunteers with many other local organizations including the Latin America Association, Hispanic Corporate Council of Atlanta (HCCA), and many others.


Felipe has degrees in Electronic Engineering Technology and Telecommunications System Technology from County College of Morris and is ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester. He was born in Peru, and came to the United States at the age of 14. He speaks fluent Spanish, and English. He is married and resides in Alpharetta, Georgia.
