Lexie Newhouse

Lexie Newhouse serves as Invest Atlanta’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Manager and is responsible for innovation policy, entrepreneur workforce programs, and entrepreneur development in the city of Atlanta. In her role, Newhouse has managed award-winning entrepreneur programming including Students2Startups and Invest Atlanta Live, both of which received recognition from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC)’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards. She is also responsible for pursuing funding opportunities via grant writing to expand programming at Invest Atlanta, where she recently was awarded the Small Business Administration (SBA)’s Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC) Prize to create new programming around government contracting and certifications for entrepreneurs. Prior to her current role, Newhouse completed her Honors Thesis under Invest Atlanta as an Innovation in Government Fellow, while working for Georgia State University’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute. Newhouse currently serves as a Right to Start Ambassador and on the Board of Directors for Startup Atlanta, a community non-profit focused on connecting, growing and promoting the Metro Atlanta Startup Ecosystem.
