Roxana Aguirre

I am the mother of two young boys and co-owner of Patria Cocina, a Mexican restaurant located in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from Sacramento State University with a Liberal Studies Degree and a BMED (Bilingual/Multicultural Education) Teaching Credential. During my stay at Sac State I was part of a Latina organization, Mujeres Ayudando la Raza, where we did community service around the greater Sacramento area as well as hosting an annual youth conference for high school girls to empower and promote higher education. I am a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and continue to promote my heritage through events I host at Patria Cocina.
